Akheloy
is on the banks of the Akheloy River close to the point where the river meets the Black Sea. It is surrounded by vineyards, orchards and vegetable gardens. Here one can find serenity in a the cosy atmosphere of family rentals and private lodgings. Alternatively, there is adequate camping facilities on the beach to the south of the village.
