Elkhovo
is located on the banks of the Toundja River. The town has a museum with an exciting collection of folk costumes of Bulgarian refugees who once lived in the Aegean, Thrace and the Odrin region. In the south west of its suburbs is 18th Century Oustremski Monastery Holy Trinity.
