Exposition: it presents the archaeological heritage of the region (end of 6th millenium BC - 15th c.) It is displayed in a building which is a cultural monument - the first “Class School“ in Bulgaria, 1889.
Highlights: the biggest collection of antique and Mediterranean anchors and stocks related to ancient navigation. A tomb find of a Thracian chief in a wooden sarcophagus, unique of its kind. The only preserved wooden boats from the 15th c.)

Exposition: it presents the living conditions and culture of the population in the region at the end of the 19th beginning of the 20th c. It is displayed in Brakalov’s house. Brakalov was a Revival activist, Vassil Levski’s brother-in-arms. He was twice a mayor of Bourgas during the 19thc.
Highlights: he biggest collection of costumes, fabrics and adornments from the Strandzha ethnographic group - Ruptsi. Collection of costumers of the village of Bulgari. Unique collection presenting “Enyo’s Bride“ custom - Enyo’s Day in Strandzha.

“Petia Doubarova“ House Museum, Bourgas

Exposition: The museum is located in a house with a high basement and one floor, where Petya Doubarova (1962-1979), died tragically and early. Her family lived there together with other families during the past few years before her death. The exhibition is situated on the first floor. In a small room where the poetess lived, the interior is restored with originals. A documentary exhibition of two section is displayed in two halls - the first sections is devoted to the poetess’s short path of life and work, and the other is devoted to her existence after death - publications, prizes in the her name and their holders, letters to the museum, etc.
Highlights: the more valuable items from the museum’s stock, besides the interior of Petya Doubarova’s room, are her manuscripts, school notebooks, in some of which there are poetical improvisations, some belongings and photographs.

Exposition: the museum is established in the native home of Dimiter Polyanov (1876-1953). On one side of the building is arranged the life style exhibition whit the preserved interior. “Yordan Yovkov“ House - Museum, Zheravna Village

Exposition: The museum was established in 1957 at the birth-house of the great Bulgarian writer Yordan Yovkov (1880-1937). In one of the rooms is reproduced the life style of the family where the writer was born and drew up. In the other room is displayed an exhibition of documents about his activities as a teacher and man of culture. The accents of the exhibition are on his function.

“Zakhary Stoyanov” House Museum, Medven

Exposition: the museum is arranged in the house built by the father of the writer in 1885, where Zakhari Stoyanov (1850-1889) had spent his childhood. On the first floor of the two-story house is reproduced the atmosphere of the era and on the second floor is displayed an exhibition of documents representing the life and the creative power ot the writer.
