Exposition: The Natural Science Museum in Varna studies and popularizes the geology, flora and fauna of the Black Sea
and the Bulgarian Black Sea coast.
There are three sections: Geology, Flora and Fauna. The formation and structure of the Earth are shown, as well as the
development of life on Earth, Mesozoic and Tertiary fossils, samples of minerals, the main species of the flora along the
Black Sea coast, the longoz (swamp forest) type of vegetation and the animal life in the region.
The Terrarium exhibition is housed in the branch of the museum in the Sea Gardens close to the Dolphinarium.

Exposition: the museum commemorates the battle in 1444 near Varna. It is a mausoleum dedicated to King Vladislav Varnenchik.
There is an exhibition of Medieval weapons. The museum is located in a big park where one can see the exposition,
monuments and a tomb dated from the 4th century B C.
Highlights: knight armour from the 15th century, accoutrements.

Exposition: It is housed in the building of the first charity hospital in Bulgaria. Medicine in ancient times, the National Revival

The Palace Architectural and Park Complex- Balchik

Exposition: the construction of the complex started in 1924. It is a unique blend of beautiful nature and interesting design ideas
that produced the Palace, its park and the outhouses. The brooks allow for an intriguing park designing. Here is the Botanical
Garden, set up in 1955 by academician Daki Yordanov. From spring to autumn visitors can enjoy the beauty and aroma of
flowers, bushes and trees collected from the whole Mediterranean region, the Pacific coasts, Southern Asia and America.
The cacti garden is one of the richest.

It is located 18 km from Silistra on the road to Rousse. It occupies an area of 8000 decares. It is a shallow lake (1-5 metres deep)
rich in animal and plant life. It is called a bird sanctuary because some 160 bird species live here or stop over on their
