Since 1864 they have been breeding high-class horses of the Arab and Eastern Bulgarian race, English thoroughbreds and Scotch ponies. Some of them have been sold to foreign horse breeders. On the territory of Kabiyuk is Bulgaria’s only Museum of the Horse. Visitors can make a tour of one of Prince Alexander of Battenberg’s residences or enjoy a ride in the beautifully decorated horse-driven carts. They can ride a thoroughbred or a pony.
